A Tribute to The Centennial Births of Jules Bledsoe and Paul Robeson
7:30PM, Department of Music Band Room, Cameron University, 2800 W Gore Blvd
Thomas Carey, baritone, and Ronald H. High, pianist, will
salute Show Boat by celebrating the centennial births of
the original creators of Ol Man River: Jules Bledsoe and
Paul Robeson. The artists will provide repertoire including
German lieder, art songs, and spirituals. The finale will be Carey's
singing of Ol Man River accompanied by a male ensemble
consisting of local fraternity members.
