Includes material on Johnson's work (1921-28) as director, Dept. of Research and Investigation, National Urban League, as co-director (1934-36) of the Institute of Race Relations, Swarthmore College, and as director and co-director (1942-48) of the Julius Rosenwald Fund race relations program. Mrs. Johnson's papers include material on social functions, and MSS. concerned with Fisk University activities, Nashville Community Relations Conferences, National Council of Negro Women, Tennessee Council of Human Relations, United Church of Christ, United Church Women, and the Y. W. C. A.
